Hosting Manual
The Hosting Manual provides organizing committees with information and guidance to plan, organize and conduct a major Canadian Speed Skating Championship, with focus being on organizational structure and finance matters. The Hosting Manual is intended to be used as a guideline, taking into consideration that each local situation is different and therefore hosting process may vary.
It is essential that, in planning a championship, and in meeting the numerous demands placed upon it, the organizing committee keep in mind the most important element of the competition – the need and well-being of the skaters.
