120 Short Track speed skaters in Fredericton for the 2016 Canadian Junior Short Track Open Selections #2

Fredericton, March 16, 2016 – The Grant Harvey Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick will host Speed Skating Canada’s 2016 National Junior Short Track Open Selections #2, March 17-20, 2016, presented by Irving Oil.

Overall, 120 junior speed skaters will aim to improve their national ranking in this competition, which is being hosted by the Fredericton Amateur Speed Skating Club.

Among the skaters in action, Brendan Corey of Fredericton will have the opportunity to skate in front of his family and friends following his participation to the ISU World Junior Short Track Championships, January 29-31, in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Thursday, March 19
10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Friday, March 20
9:40 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Saturday, March 21
9:40 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, March 22
8:40 a.m. – 5 p.m.
