Attention Coaches: Status of Speed Skating Coaches Survey

The University of Alberta and Speed Skating Canada have teamed up to conduct an innovative coaching education survey to improve the coaching education and coaching environment within speed skating clubs across Canada. We have surveyed speed skating organizations for their views, now we are looking for input from coaches. If you are active as a speed skating coach in any capacity we would like to ask you to participate in quick and easy 30 minute online survey. We would appreciate it if you could follow the link below and complete the questionnaire. Once you click the link, more information regarding the study shall be provided.

This survey will serve to increase Speed Skating Canada’s understanding of the current coaching environment and needs of coaches while giving you a great opportunity to provide feedback to Speed Skating Canada on current coaching education and coach support programs. Please take a few minutes of your time to help Speed Skating Canada to make more informed decisions. This survey will be open until December 5th, 2011.

If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact Douglas Duncan, Director of Leadership Education (dduncan@speedskating.ca) or the research team.
