Race information on Canada’s short track speed skating team at World Cup #1 in Calgary

CALGARY
– Speed Skating Canada’s short track team is in Calgary for the first Samsung ISU World Cup of the season from Friday, Oct. 19 to Sunday, Oct. 21. Listed below are the individual races each skater will take part in.

Qualification rounds are on Friday for both 1,000-metre races, the 1,500 metres, the 500 metres and relays. Saturday’s races will see the 1,500-metre race, the first of two 1,000-metre competitions and the men and women’s relay semi-finals. On Sunday, there will be the 500-metre and second 1,000-metre races, as well as the relay finals.

Canada’s skaters will take part in the following races:
